CUPC 8.0.3 Won't Work Properly

HI,

Software :

CUPS 8.0.3

CUPC 8.0.3

CUCM 7.1.3

I'm installing the new CUPS 8.0.3 but I meet problems:

     - on windows 7 64 bits CUPC is very slow

     - enabling Availabitlity status in Office 2010 dont work

     - in the CUPC I can't delete contacts"error 1651"

Any ideas?

Thaks.

Vincent.

Re: CUPC 8.0.3 Won't Work Properly

Hi Vincent,

To run CUPC 8. client you need to upgrade CUCM to at least 7.1.5. Check Table 4 from:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cupc/8_0/english/release/notes/cupc80.html

Thanks,

Tijana

Re: CUPC 8.0.3 Won't Work Properly

Thanks for quick answer, but it's really necessary?

because if I look at recommendations it is necessary to make upgrade CUCM (7.1.5), unity connection (7.1.5), CUPS 8.0.4................

Re: CUPC 8.0.3 Won't Work Properly

If you are running:

CUPS 8.0.3

CUPC 8.0.3

CUCM 7.1.3

only CUCM upgrade to 7.1.5 is needed. CUPS 8.0.3 is OK and minimum CUC 7.1.4 (no need for 7.1.5).

we tested functionality with compatible versions listed in documentation. If you are running on different versions, it's hard to predict what kind of misbehavior you might see.

Re: CUPC 8.0.3 Won't Work Properly

i'm running :

CUCM 7.1.3 --> upgrade to 7.1.5

Unity Connection 7.1.2 --> upgrade to 7.1.4 or 7.1.5

CUPS 8.0.3 --> upgrade to 8.0.3 because i must fixe bugs.....

I understand every of version, but they are very recent and it procreates updating a lot........ and in an active environment this ugrade are very difficult.

Thanks for this answer.

Regards

Vincent
