My CTI does not work, i know why, because my client is not resolving the hostname correctly for cucm. in the server name for CTI it's called "CallManager". How do I get it to IP address of CUCM, or is this being pulled from the CUCM configuration System settings?
I think it's pulled from the Unified CM Configuration, but not sure. I'd like the client to connect to CTI through IP rather than DNS.

It's pulled from CUCM.
However, you may change it either on CUCM or on CUPS.
On CUCM, go to System > Server.
On CUPS, go to Application > Cisco Unified Personal Communicator > CTI Gateway Server.

Thanks Michael! It seems to update itself once it does actually make the connection.
When it's not connected, it has the server name in their, once connected, it changes it to the IP address.
