CUPC for Mac Presence Issues

Hi all,

I've been searching for an answer on this for a while, so i figured I'd try here.

I cannot get presence information to work with CUPC and Snow Leopard (utilizing the built in VPN client).  If I am at work behind the firewall, everything works fine.

When I get home and login via the built in VPN I have problems:

1) VPN Connects fine and I am able to access all things behind the firewall

2) CUPC connects but then in the status says UNABLE TO RECEIVE PRESENCE INFORMATION.  As a result of this all contacts appear offline.  Softphone does function.

3) When looking at the system diagnostics under PRESENCE SERVER, it shows trying to connect to the CUPS.domain.ad:5060 and TCP.  It also alternates between these 2 messages:

Disconnected (Waiting to Retry) - Service not connected

Connecting (Primary) - Service not connected

This same setup works when using an older Mac with the Cisco VPN client (not built in).  Is there some sort of issue with the built in client and that port? 

This occurs ona ny internet connection outside my office.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
