CUPC - Login Failed

All,

I’m new to Presence and have installed it in our lab for the first time. I think my CUCM integration is working, I can see my users on the admin page and they can logon to the ‘Cisco Unified Presence User Options’ with their CUCM end user credentials. However when I try ‘Personal Communicator’ I get ‘Login Failed. Please try again later.’

Presence - 8.5.3

CUCM - 8.6.1

Any ideas?

CUPC - Login Failed

Couple things you can try.

Could you log into CUCM user page?  (yes or no?)

If you could log into CUPS user page, but not CUCM, its a sync issue.  Restart Sync agent, restart Cisco Tomcat.

LDAP configured correctly for authentication? 

On the End user page in CUCM, you dont have "User must change at Next Login" correct?

You can also check the logs on the client and verify what the exact source of the issue is.  Could be something to do with how the client is resolving the IP address or host name of CUPS/CUCM, etc.

Hi Tommer,

Yes the users can logon to both CUCM user page and CUP user page.

I'm LDAP directory but not for authenticaion.

I don't appear to have an option for 'User must change password at next logon' ??

I'll see if I can find/check the log files
