CUPC softphone not following UDP port standards for video
How can we get the CUPC application (ver, 1.2(2.11220) to follow standard voice and video UDP ports when doing video along with a voice call?
I soon found out that starting a video call with this application across my QoS savy WAN causes my P1 queue to saturate. In other words, the video stream stayed on the same UDP ports that the voice was using instead of opening the standard UDP ports for video. This caused my voice traffic to be dropped and the video clipped.
I have a P2 queue setup for video UDP ports (udp range 2326-2404) which works fine for my Tandbergs. We are running Presence 126.96.36.1990-27
