CUPS 7 - any cool things about it?

This question might look crazy... We sold CUPS 7 software to one of our clients but neither client nor me really know what does CUPS do.

They currently run Attendant console server (i khow I can integrate it with CUPS) and Unity (UM) all with CM-7.

They have CUPC licenses for 20% of their users.

So what cool things can I have with CUPS?

You may consider CUPS as a multi-function communication server. It can work with different clients (such as Cisco CUPC, Microsoft MOC, IBM Sametime) to provide Instant Messaging, Phone Presence, Phone features, Calendar Integration, Web Conference Integration, etc.
