CUPS sip proxy - 10 sec delay to 2nd entry in static route

Hi,

-CUPS 6.0.4

I configured two static routes in CUPS sip proxy to get redundancy but always about 10 sec delay to hit the 2nd entry

-entry1=31* via CUCM#1, priority=1

-entry2=31* via CUCM#2, priority=2

when I shutdown CUCM#1, I can see sending the INVITE command from CUPS to CUCM#2 about 10 seconds later without any action in the middle.

My expectation is send INVITE command to CUCM#1 three times (I configured the INVITE retransmission to 2 in service parameter) and CUCM#2 but my case sending INVITE to CUCM#2 directly (10 sec delay) without any try to CUCM#1

sounds familiar, but not quite recall the solution. You may open a TAC case for that.

BTW, check the service parameters of SIP proxy, look at "Address Resolution Type". Try to set it to IP. Restart SIP proxy. See if makes any difference?
