Delay in switchover

Running a single system 120 user 4.0(4) we are having an issue with the change over from business hours to after hours. on most days the change will happen about 20 minutes later the programed. Ie. If work hours in unity is set to end at 4:00 it will be 4:20 or so before the after hours greetings will start. All other unity functions are running without issue.

just because I have to ask - did you check the accuracy of the clock on the Unity server in question?

The time stuff is checked realtime as necessary, nothing is buffered that would be causing a delay like you describe... if the clock is accurate the only other guess I have is that the schedule you have configured has an extra row of "boxes" checked for the schedule which would account for 30 minute "delays" I suppose - but that seems not very likely.

You've updated the schedule in question via the SA, right? Not something like ATM or a custom query? Just checking...
