Digital Networking

Current I have a pair of Unity servers( primary/failover) running in the production and I am going to build another two Unitys , Digital Networking has to be enabled on these 4 servers. there is nothing configured on the current old Unitys. I will do the config on these two. my question is : do we have to reboot or restart the existing Unity to make the Digital Networking work? since it is a production envronment, want to confirm and need some communication with Customer. thank you in advance

Re: Digital Networking

No reboot is necessary if you're just using straight digital networking (i.e. no AMIS type stuff requiring directory extensions involved). The directory monitors on all boxes are always looking for Unity objects in the directory and will pull them into their global tables as they are found without requring any work on your part.
