Unity 4.0.5
Call Manager 4.1.3 sr1
Cisco Unity-TSP 8.0.2
Hi, I'm trying to implement the following feature (direct transfer to VM) using this older document.
http://www.cisco.com/warp/customer/788/AVVID/transfer_voicemail.html
When I set this up at the customer site, when I dial *EXT, I get "please enter your password" instead of the persons voicemail.
This works fine for us inhouse on Unity 4.0.5, tsp 8.02, but our ccm version is still at 3.3.
Does anyone know how I can get this working on the configuration listed above?

Hi John -
You may want to reference this updated document - http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/products/sw/voicesw/ps2237/products_tech_note09186a008015b963.shtml
Option 1 works for us. We don't have anything coded in CallManager, also on Unity 4.0(5).

This doesn't address the way I'm trying to implement this. Any other suggestions?

What do you see on the Unity call viewer?
Make sure that you do not forward the *, so if your directory numbers are 4 digit, in the voicemail profile mask enter XXXX, not XXXXX. I have it working on CCM 3.3 fine.

Chris,
Good point. Unity sees the call as a Direct call from the phone you are dialing from. In house on our 3.3, unity sees the call as a forward. That's clearly why I am getting "please enter your password." Should I just open a case with TAC?
