When Cisco Unity receives the call, it plays the Opening Greeting if the calling number is not a subscriber in Unity.
If you want to log into a mailbox, you can press the * key during the Opening Greeting announcement and enter your mailbox ID and password.
Can we bypass the required pressing the * key and go directly to "enter your mailbox ID".
Hay, my users are doing good to remember their mailbox ID!!

Do you have a VM pilot number that can be dialed from the outside? If so, setup a translation pattern in Call Manager and then setup a Routing Rule in Unity.
