directory handler search options based on public distribution list

I can get a custom directory handler working with search options using COS just fine looking up names and dialing. But now I would like to use a Public Distrubution List to limit searches but it is not working. It did not work the last couple of installs but I worked around it by just using COS but I have an instance where COS wont work for me.

We were having a similar problem and we found two issues:

1. Users must have "List in phone directory" checked.

2. Users must have a recorded name. Cisco states "If the subscriber(s) still can not be located, confirm that they have recorded names.
