directory number query in communications manager 7

Hi all,

probably someone has an idea how to deal with the following issue...

With our formerly used callmanager 4.2 we used an asp script to get the following information from the cm:

Assumed, we have an overall range of directory numers from 33000 - 34999.

The script asked the callmanager which DNs are already in use and gave the user back all the remaining DNs.

Now, we run the communications manager 7, which comes without IIS of course. And thererefore my asp script isn't fuctioning anymore... :-(

Could you think of a way, how to easily accomplish this?

I just want to give our first level personal an easy way, how to find free DNs within a certain and predefinded range of DNs, which are currently not in use by any device.

Thanks in advance,

Joachim

Hi!

What about using the Route Plan Report? You can search for unassigned DNs and get a .csv file with this data. Not sure if this can help as this option was also available on 4.X and you didn't use it :)

Refer to:

*** Route Plan Report ***

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/admin/7_0_1/ccmcfg/b03rtrep.html

Other than that you can try using a query from the DB. login to CLI and run a quuery like:

"run sql select * from numplan where dnorpattern="

But this won't be very user friendly.

Hope this helps!

Teresa.
