divert FAX to external FAX

Hi

I've got a FAX connected to VG248 and registered with CUCM, does anyone know if I can do a FAX divert to external FAX and how can I achieve this? I have tried in CUCM set call forward all to external FAX and assigned it the right CSS but it didn't work. I am thinking of doing a translation pattern for it tomorrow and see if this works. Any help would be appreciated.

There's no reason this can't be done

Did you put the full dial string (including access #) in the Call Forward All

entry?

Did you check the Call Forward All CSS?

yes, the full dial string has been added, I've tested to call forward all to my mobile, it works fine, and changed to other external fax, it didn't get through, the fax report said "no answer", any clue?

Have you checked the Parameter "Block offnet to offnet transfer"

yes, the offnet has been setup properly, all allowed, I also tried to call forward to my external mobile and it work.

Thanks for replying, I've resolved this issue. I checked my FAX and realized someone gave me the wrong fax number!!! It's actually very simple just like forwarding call for your phone, put the call forward all number there and call manager will deal with it, happy ending
