DNS records for direct SIP-SIP between Cisco VCS and Lync
Not sure if I'm in the right group here. I have a client that has recently had a Cisco VCS installed and is using a 3rd party hosted VCS Expressway. They would like to setup their public DNS records so they can make direct sip-sip calls with other companies they work with who use MS Lync 2013 (federation).
So what I need to do is setup DNS records for our VCS company so Lync can find the VCS Expressway for sip-sip. I have done several Lync installs and am familiar with the DNS requirements for Lync external federation, but I need some advice on what to setup for our Cisco client.
I've read a fair bit of documentation but, can't find concise instructions on what is required for public DNS to point Lync partners at our Cisco VCS expressway for inbound communication.
Also does the Cisco VCS expressway support dynamic federation like Lync does?
