Dual integration to Octel using VG248/CCM/NEC MWI problem
FYI: VG248 when used with CCM and a legacy voicemail using serial protocol (SMDI/MCI)does not properly support MWI signalling with the software currently shipping 1.3.1 .
The issue is that MWI's from the voicemail are sent to both the CCM and the legacy PBX. If the MWI packet is for an extension that is not on the CCM, the VG248 MWI port hangs for 30 seconds before the next MWI is attempted. This results in a throughput of 120 MWI's an hour with the MWI queue stacking up hundreds of requests and MWI's delayed by hours.
The last revision 1.3.2 includes the fix - MWI's are sent out regardless of whether the extension exists on CCM.
