Enable multicast

Hi all

I want to install application that called Athan "for prayer time" and it is need to enable mulitcast. I have core and access switches,

Just I need to turn on "ip multicast-routing" on core switch?

Should I enable CGMP on Core and all other switches?

Hi,

You will have to do more than that. You will have to enable PIM and also to choose a mode of running : sparse or dense mode.
