Experience from the Cisco Agent Desktop when upgrading to UCCX 10.0(1)

Hello,

 

We are upgrading our UCCX to version 10.0(1).  For now, we are keeping our Cisco Agent Desktop application installed instead of having the Cisco Finesse Desktop.  After the upgrade takes place, will the clients experience anything with the Cisco Agent Desktop application (like a notification pop up or anything like that)? If so, they should be able to download the latest update directly from the application right?  Also, their IP phones should receive an update as well right?

When they launch CAD, they

When they launch CAD, they will get a prompt saying, there is a new version, click Ok to install. Clicking OK will start the install. If they dont, CAD might not work properly.

There wont be any changes IP phones if only UCCX is being upgraded. If CUCM is being upgraded, then there will be a firmware update.
