For a new CM 8.6.2 installation, I'm stuck on getting Fast Dials functional. On a 7912 phone, I press the Services Button and select the softkey Services option. This produces a "My Fast Dials" option (that was created in the IP Phone Services Configuration heading) which I select but that ends in the very unkind message of "Not Available." I've created a Fast Dial via the web browser interface for the phone also. Might you have any pointers for guidance on this. Thank you. Dan
In the web portal (CM User), when you created the speed dials/abbrv dial, you should see a number on the far left (i.e. 1, 2, 3, etc). All you should need to do is pick up your phone, dial that number (i.e. 1) and when you do, you should see an AbbrDial softkey appear across the bottom of the phone. Press that button and your call should get processed.
