federation between existing lync 2010 and new cisco presence

Hi,

Just got our be6K installed cucm, unity, and im/presence. (version 9.1)

Now I would like to see who is online/busy etc on our lync system while I use Jabber.

So I guess i need to use federation

our domain in lync is

first.lastname@domain.com

what do I need to configure on the presence and what on the lync ?

we use Active directory to authenticate..

any specific guides ?

thnx

Martin

This is possible through intra-domain partitioning. This is only worth the effort if your environment is so large that a flash cut from Lync to Jabber isn't feasible.
