Hello,
I need to create the mailbox which will have a greeting option only (information for callers ) without ability to leave a message.
What is the best way to do that?

Hi Sergey,
I'll just add a couple of notes to the good tips from Java (+5)
People generally use Call Handlers in Unity Connection
for "info-only" mailboxes as they don't use any licenses.
You could also use a standard mailbox and set the "after
greeting action" on the greeting (active) to hang-up rather than
"take message" but this would use up a license.
The steps for setting up a Call Handler are in this doc;
Cheers!

+5 for Rob!
All you really need to do is create a CTI Route point (CUCM>Device>CTI Route Point>Add new)and associate the correct DN to it. In the DN configuration, set the correct VM profile and call forward all to voice mail. As long as you set the extension of the call handler to be the same as the CTI DN, you should be good to go. Rob's link will tell you exactly what you need to do to set up the Call Handler.

Start by mentioning what product (and version) you're using, and not just what you want/need.

Hi Rob,
If I will use a Call Handlers for "info-only" mailboxes, how I can associate DN with external number?
Thank you for your response....standard mailbox works excellent.

Hi Sergey,
If I wanted to set up a Call Handler for xxx-xxx-5000 I would usually
create a new CTI-RP (CTI route point) in CUCM with the DN set as
5000. Use the Call Forward All on the CTI-RP DN page to forward
all calls to Unity Connection (use VM check-box).
Then in Unity Connection when creating the new Call Handler use
5000 as the extension and you should be good to go
Cheers!
