Hung/Stuck ports in busy on Unity 4.2(1)

Hi,

Over time, we get ports stuck in busy in Unity 4.2(1) with Unity TSP 8.2(1) ES4 and not sure why it is happening. We have had this happen twice and have to reboot the server to clear the issue. We have worked with TAC on it once and awaiting for next time to review some micro and macro traces from time it happens.

Was wondering if anyone here has seen this before or not.

Unity version = 4.2(1.0)

Patches installed:=CU4.2(1)_ES29, CU4.2(1)_ES43, CU4.2(1)_ES59

TSP - 8.2(1) ES4

Call Manager version is 5.1.2-3000-2

These event logs show up in Application log, but not when problem happens. there are no other errors or warnings at or around this time in the unity event logs to indicate what problem may be.

Description:

Port 8 has been busy since 2007-12-21 11:50:03. The system threshold is 240 minutes, indicating that this port is currently unavailable and may be unable to handle further calls.

In the Status Monitor web page, the ports show busy for thousands of minutes that are stuck in busy. Resetting them in unity does nothing and resetting the VM Port on Call Manager side does nothing.

The port shows registered on Call Manager.
