installing CUCM 8.5 on ESXI 4.1 NTP unreachable error

Hello all,

I am installing CUCM 8.5 on a C200 server via esxi 4.1. I am getting ane NTP unreachable. I have actually removed the NTP server statement and made the router NTP master and made sure the router ip address was in the ntp server entry on install. That didn't work any other ideas?

What does "sh ntp status" show on the router?

You may try tune stratum level to make the clock source have lower stratum.
