Intercepting 311 Calls - Unified Call Manager 6.1

Is there a way so that when a user dials a particular number (specifically 311) that a custom message picks up - asks them if they want to continue with the 311 call to press '1'?

not with CCM only, this would require Unity or CUC to intercept the call and then play the warning

then it's all about routing.

create a CTI RP with DN 311, the partition needs to be reachable to users.

configure a call handler and record the message you want "if you're sure press 1, press 2 to hang up" or something

configure a call routing rule for forwarded calls with DNIS 311 and set it to transfer directly to greeting of above call handler

create a dummy call handler to transfer and set the transfer options to yes, ring subscriber at this extension 311. that's all you need for this one.

on 1st CH under caller input set (following my example) input 1 "attempt transfer to" and choose CH #2.

on input 2 you can set it to simply hang up
