Is circular logging safe?

Folks,

We have a voicemail only unity server. We are running out of disk space, we have a third party backup system, but we can not seem to get it to work with unity (permissions, domain authentication issues). If we enable circular logging on the unity server, would that be safe? can we delete old transactional files?

Don't delete the transactional logs. Just run the NTBackup against the exchange store to clear the logs and the exchange mailstore backup is available for Microsoft to help you recover.

If you enable circular logging, just understand that you won't have transactional logs to help you recover to point of failure, but you will be able to recover to point of backup.
