I have been trying to install Cisco Unified Presence server 7.1 on VMware 1.0.6. I could see the fatal exception in the Virtual Machine, at the end of basic installation; consequently the VMware got struck up. Could not proceed further even after resetting the Virtual Machine.
I used a VMware with 76GB hard disk memory and 1296MB RAM for this installation. It works till Configuring the Publisher Node in Cisco Unified Presence". After that got this issue. Any one faces this issue before? Is there any work around for this? Please provide your inputs on this.
Attaching the screen shot of Error page.

Did you use SCSI or IDE on VM?
I use VMWare ESX. SCSI is the only option on ESX. I've never run into this problem.
Also, remove unnecessary devices (such as floppy, USB, audio, etc.)
Thanks!
