I am trying to get click to call working from Microsoft Word/Excel with Jabber for Windows and having a hard time. It was working with the CUPC client, but not since chaning client to Jabber. I have played around with the smart tags in Office/Excel and cannot get it to work.
By "Til now" do you mean this is not possible, or it is now possible? The CUPC client had a snap-in to Microsoft Office applications and the click to call option was available so I would be surprised if that feature is not available with Jabber.
I saw that one but thought the post date was 2007 so was looking for more recent information. The post was entered this past May so hopefully with newer revisions set to come out, this feature will be added. It's too bad as CUPC could do the click to call.
