Jabber / CUPS Deskphone Control Issue

I have an issue with CUPS 8.6 and Deskphone mode usage for Jabber, I cant use my Deskphone as action takes too long and fails.

We are using uisng CUCM 8.6.2 and using SLDAP Authentication port 636 which was changed from non-secure last week and certificate uploaded, this was done by the AD admin and not the Cisco specialist.

The debugs I have show a directory authentication failure and I understand CTI is used so an error is on this part:

2012-06-28 13:13:56,961 WARN  [0x00001148] [src\deskphoneprovider\phonelog.cpp(38)] [csf.ecc] [prepareFor2GLogger] - ProviderOpen failed: reason: 0x8ccc0060, Directory login failed - authentication failed.

How would be the best way to change this to work and which services would need to be restarted on CUCM and CUPS?

Similar issue here, did you ever get this resolved?

thanks,

Otto

Can you try with port 3269 (secure GC port) ?

Does this work when you use unsecure connection ? pot 389 / 3268

If you can isolate the problem when we will know if this has anything to do witht the secure LDAP or if it is sth else

Christos
