i failed to setup cisco jabber in PC or labtop out of the domain i have to join this devices to domain then jabber will work fine even in IPhone i have to add domain name in wireless DHCP option then cisco jabber will work
how i can setup cisco jabber in device out of domain
Enviroment
Cisco unified communication manager 9.1
cisco unified presence server 9.0 on-premis
cisco unity Connection server 9.1
cisco jabber 9.6 for windows
cisco jabber for iphone

Domain has nothing to do with it, it is DNS that is significant here as the Jabber discovery process relies heavily on DNS. From iPhone, etc clients you can always do manual setup on the client and point to IP address of IMP server (no redundancy would be available), but it would work. When logging in however you need to login with Jabber ID, i.e. JID@domain where the domain is the Jabber domain defined on IMP server.

i already did that JID@doamin but always got error msg " can not communicate with server "
once i join client to domain jabber will work fine , i use same DNS for both situation
