Solved: LED status on MCS7835

Hi, We have site that removed one of two power supplies from 7835 (model number: MCS7835H2-K9-CMA2) running CUCM 7.1.3 after it failed. The LED status now appears normal. My question is, should the LED indicate any type of alarm showing the power is not in a redundant state?

Hi

If you have a PSU and it doesn't receive power or is faulty, then it's a fault.

If you don't have a secondary PSU, then it's not a fault as nothing is 'broken' - you may simply have not purchased that extra resilience.
