Licence Count Utilty Application not Running

Hello Friends,

Thanks for the good works always! I plan to migrate from CUCM 7.1.5 to v9 and now at the stage of running LCU to convert my DLUs to CUWL or alternative but my several attempts have not been successful. I downloaded from Cisco

I have JRE 6 running and I have tried on 2 different windows platform without success: Win 7 professional and Win server Enterprise 2007 (SP2). It did not display error report on both platforms. WHat could be wrong and what is the way out?

Hi,

I have never faced this issue earlier since I had Windows XP earlier and LCU worked fine. But just now when I tried with Windows 7 similar issue is coming .

Even there is a bug for LCU with Java 7 and Java 6 is recommended

I suggest if u have Windows XP on any of the PC , try it.
