Limiting Backgrounds available to certain groups

I see a plethora of questions regarding how to change backgrounds for different model phones.  I'd like to know if its possible to have certain groups be able to change their backgrounds to certain images.  We have several groups and I'd like for each group to be able to change their background to the logo for their group, without users of the same phones in other groups being presented with the option to use those same backgrounds.  Am I being clear?  Is that doable?

The List.xml and the options they get, are tied to the TFTP they're looking at, you would need to set that same number of TFTPs as groups you have to do that, and maintain all the phone files in there as well.

Doable, not manageable at all, as it means you would do manual updates of files as you change settings in CUCM.
