Low playback volume in MS Outlook

We have a unified messaging environment where we have Unity 4.0 forward messages to exchange 2003. The issue we have is playback of the .wav file voicemails are very low volume. All the volume controls on the system are set at max and playback is low. Using VMO instead of Media player has the same results. Has anyone experienced this issue. I can provide a sample of this wav file if needed. Thanks.

Hi -

Quick questions - does the volume of the message sound different (same, louder, softer) if playback from ViewMail to user's phone is selected instead of soundcard? Is this occurring for all voice messages?

The messages sound the same no matter which application you use to playback the message. Playback from the phone sounds good.
