MCS-7825-H1 compatibility with VMware ESXi?

Hello,

I have two MCS-7825-H1 (AKA - HP ProLiant DL320 G3) servers that I would like to use for training.

Does anyone have experience with installing VMware ESXi on this plaform?

Thanks,

Brian

Re: MCS-7825-H1 compatibility with VMware ESXi?

Hi

Might be a bit off-topic - since you know which HP model this is, might be worth trying the VMWare forums.

All the advice I can give is:

- It doesn't appear on their compatibility list

- You can get ESX for free from VMWare, so it's probably worth downloading it and trying it. They have a HP specific install and a generic one, try both.. (http://www.vmware.com/products/esxi/)

I have DL360 G4 which I'm trying to get it running on, just trying to dig up some RAM as that's the check that is failing at the moment.

Regards

Aaron
