MediaSense Questions

We're looking to implement call recording.  The way I understand MediaSense is this:

MediaSense can grab call streams from the gateway, and then records them to a temporary store.

Call Manager 9 will allow for the pressing of a single softkey that can activate that call recording.

Above and beyond that (and maybe I'm wrong), I know little else.

1) Can it be used as is, or do you have to have a third party solution to view and retrieve the recordings?

2) If you have to have a third party utility, who are some reputable manufacturers of those softwares?

Is there anything else anyone call tell me about MediaSense?
