Meet-Me Busy Tone

This is the first time I'm attempting to set up a conference bridge.

I followed the "Conference Bridge Configuration Checklist" on my CCM 3.5:

1. Configured a Hardware Conference Device and a Software Conference Device.

2. Configured the Meet-Me Number/Pattern.

(e.g. 212*)

When I press "more", then "MeetMe", I hear two tones then a steady dial tone returns. I then dial 2120 and then a busy tone is returned.

I think the first thing I should do is verify that I have "hardware". I looked in the Windows 2000 Device Manager but did not see any dsp or T1 hardware devices. Should I be looking elsewhere?

What else should I be checking?

Thanks

does the phone has access to a CFB thru the MRGL at device or device pool level?

The HW CFB must be configured at a router or a module in a Cat 6500. Do you have it configured in there?

The DSPs are not in any CCM server, they're HW pieces that are in NM-HDV, NM-HDV2, etc

if using SW CFB make sure the IPVMS service is running and that the codec you're using is G711 since the SW CFB cannot handle G729
