MeetingPlace Express 7 or 8 basic audio only solution...help!
I have a customer with an existing UC 7.1.x cluster (a la carte licence) and a legacy MeetingPlace Express 220.127.116.11 solution providing audio conferencing only. The customer now wishes to up-grade the MeetingPlace solution to a latter version for support purposes and to increase the number of ports.
All that is required is the ability to schedule audio conferences and hold ad-hoc meetings; the solution requires 52 audio ports. There are no requirements for Webex external meetings, web or video; all that’s needed is simple audio bridging.
Am I right in thinking that the MCS Node for MP8 has no Webx VoIP/Video support, is an internal solution and is deployed on a single server (MCS)? Looking at various Cisco docs it’s also suggested that a Webex account is still required as MediaTone is extended to site?
