MeetingPlace Express - Favour Please?

Hi All,

I'm planning an MPE install and looking to import users through a CSV file.

Unfortunately, according to

(http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/products/ps6533/products_administration_guide_chapter09186a00805edd00.html#wp1069753) it seems you need the software installed in order to find out what column headings are required.

Would anyone who has MPE be so kind as to either do an export and send me the CSV file (without user info of course) or let me know which fields have to be in it?

Hi Stuart -

Just curious. We are not creating users in MeetingPlace Express, rather we are using CallManager CCMUserids via LDAP configuration in MeetingPlace Express. When the user logs in to MeetingPlace Express for the first time, the profile is automatically created. Look at the section "Requirements for User Authentication By an External Directory". It is so much easier :-)

I'm aware of "self-profiling" options but we need to stop many of the users having "moderator" access.

is there a way I can give access for a user to change their password on meeting place with out giving them full access to the system

Hi Rob -

You are too cool! Thank you for your very nice note :-) I just started working with MeetingPlace Express about two months ago. So it was fun for me to be able to respond. I am currently writing user support documentation for our customers to schedule meetings and we have our first production user going live this week! Up till now, we have been piloting, with most of our users using MeetMe conferencing or Polycom FX videoconferencing (which I also support). So it was natural for me to take this effort on (and learn more about Linux in the process - an added benefit).
