Meetingplace outdial

Hi experts,

I'm a newbie in Meeting Place,I'm confusing about outdial of Meetingplace system. I'd like to ask cisco experts here about this following: user call to Meetingplace system and connect to meeting ID, then the user (the user has call out right)trigger call out to other two users.And now, three users can talk to each other through this meeting.

I'm wondering which implement conferencing function of the system. Which one,CallManager or Audio Server?

Hi,

actually meetingplace is doing the conferencing work and streams the voice to the participants. since meetingplace is responsible, you can also mute participants, see who is talking and also record meetings.

Recently, I heard someone said that when call out to the user,Audio Server like a phone Callmanager'll do the conferencing work rather than Audio Server. I think this is reasonless because Cisco meetingplace documents said this outdial feature clearly. I don't understand why someone said as above.

What do you think,experts?

Hellow every body

I have configured MP 5.4 every thing is working and if i dial from my IPT i can perform every step including scheduling ,attending etc but when i outdial from my meeting place audio server i recieve the error

Placing Call .....Call was unsuccessful: General Outdial error, check the exlog.

and as i look into the eventlogs i see the following

Hi experts,

I'm installing Auido Server 8112 and this is my firt time, I configured Auido Server 8112 as configure gude. And when I connect to Audio Server using MeetingTime,but I don't know using which User ID and Password to log in MeetingPlace.

If you configured the components of the meeting place correctly then you can log into meeting time through a Password of the Day which will be provided by Cisco TAC Engineer.

I get the same messages:

(read up in time sequence)

I did one for an in-house extension and another for an outside dial pattern. Both failed with the same "MSG=5" condition.

I have double checked all of the Gateway settings and userid/profile settings.

you should check versions software compatibility in your system.
