MessageMonitorUser

Hi,

I am trying to make MessageMonitorUser work.

I followed this document http://www.ciscounitytools.com/Documents/MessageMonitor.pdf

When i check the port monitor gives me an error "No CTI device associated with 3005. If unexpected verify that call manager reports the device."

Hello....a couple things to try...

1. Make sure that this phone is associated with a CCM user (in other words make sure you do the setup on the CCM side).

2. Is this the only device that does not work? Try another device (like a 7960). (perhaps your phone isn't supported...I know 7970's sometimes have issues).

Hi,

I tried on 7960 7940. None of the device work.

Yes all the phones are associated with CTI user.

A couple more things to check...

1. make sure the user is enabled for "CTI application use" and "cti super provider".

2. The message monitor configuration tool does not check to make sure the password you entered is correct (for either the CTI access or deviceListX)...you might want to try setting this password again in the config tool.

3. If you haven't looked at the TOI, you should try that. There is a section about setup and logging.
