Migrate 2 unity 4.05 servers to Connection 8.x HA

Hi I have 2 Unity 4.05 , on box Unity VM's - not networked with eachother but integrated to same CCM. Can we use COBRAS to do the migration - export from one, impoort to connection and then do the other ? Any 'Gotchya's' , please advise.  Wil be using following link.

Yes you can.  I would go through the Call Handlers and see if you have any redudant CHs between the system.  On your import, you can select which call handlers you want to import into the system.  For the users, if you are already UM, you can simply LDAP import the users, then match their accounts when COBRAS imports them.   Remember, you first have to setup all the subscriber templates, COS, etc that does not come over with Unity... then do call handlers, then do the user import and test, test, test, test.    You can always import the users again or call handlers, etc.  If you are not familar with COBRAS, check out the videos here. No problem. It takes a little practice and some pre-planning if you have never done it before. The nice this is that you can keep importing over the old data with Cobras. If you are brining over messages, it takes a lot longer for the subscribers. If you can, leave them behind. ☺
