missed calls CCME and IP Phones with switch

I have problem by 2 customers with CallManager Express 3 and 4 on 2 different platform (C2821 & C3845).I've some missed calls (ephone don't ring) and want I ping ephone with switch (models 7970,796x,794x,7911) i Loss 15% to 20% od packets, when I ping ephone without switch (7905) or other device I loss no packets. IN the 2 case I have differents LAN switches (C4507+C3560 and CE500).

Have you an idea about this issue?

Hi,

Not sure about the 7905, but I know that some of the phones like the 7940's and 60's actually used to not respond to every ping as a security precaution.

I would check your phone and line configs.

Not sure when you say the phone doesnt ring, does it display a missed call on the screen? Does the phone display the call when it is coming in? or does the call never appear on the phone at all?

I would go back to basics on both of these, treat them as different faults due to the different versions etc.
