Moving messages after a DiRT Restore

I did a Dirt restore, then a couple days later I moved the new server into production. How do I move the new messages that were left after I did a Dirt Backup, to the new server? Can I just copy the .eml files from the old M: drive to the new one? Is exmerge my only option? Any input would be great.

ExMerge would be your best bet here - that's what's it's designed to do.

After I do an exmerge into the new server, will unity see those messages as new or saved messages?

ExMerge should preserve their read/unread flag so they'll be whatever they were when you backed them up.
