MPE - Web Interface not working?

Just trying out MPE on a vmware box to get a handle on things. I'm finding I can't get to a web page on the server. IP's of the server are pingable, but I can't web to either of them.

I've done a mpx_sys status and see the following message:

'breeze dead but subsys locked'

Anyone got any ideas what's going on here?

If anyone has an idea if a demo license is avail for MPE I'd be interested to know.

TIA

Okay, seems a demo license is built in for a max 6 party conf.

Getting to the web console involves going to port 8080 not port 80.

Nathan,

Would be interested to know how you got around the hardware check when installing MPE on VMWare.

Thanks,

I too would be interested in the hardware checks bypass. Wanted to load MPE in out ESX lab environment for testing but haven't been able to find a decent workaround for the hw check.

Thanks.

Re: MPE - Web Interface not working?

I experienced the same issue after upgrading to a new version. The problem is usually caused by the hostname of the web interface being changed at some point, TAC has a utility that should solve the problem, otherwise the breeze databse will have to be reinstalled.
