Networking VM only Unity's

How can I network two or more Unity's in VoiceMail only mode to make sure all users have a single dial-in number? The Unity which accepts the calls has to be able to route to a subscriber which is on one of the other servers.

I went through design guides and tried to find an answer, but was not successful so far :(

Looking forward to your answer

Roland

You need have the Unity VMs in the same AD infrastructure. So for example:

If you have Site A:

Unity VMO, standalone server with SQL/Messanging, etc. Integrated into a PBX locallay.

Wan Link to Site B:

Unity VM, standalone server with SQL/Messanging, etc.

Integrated into a PBX Localally.

What ties these two sites together is AD. You have to understand MS AD and how to create "Sites" and an Exchange Org with multiple Exchange servers.

Unity basically rides on the back of AD/Exchange architechture. So if the AD servers are DC in at each location, replication will occur. If the Exchange servers are memebers to the common Org, address books will replicate.

Now, just simply network the Unity servers together using digital networking. You will then actually "see" more unity servers in your Unity server list on the left hand side.

now, when a user dials any unity server or main number, they can do cross logins.

Here is some information for you
