New Identity feature

Hi all,

Here is the part I don't understand: documentation is saying that "New Identity process can be run only on the primary (publisher) node and not on secondary (subscriber) nodes in a cluster". I don't understand this limitation: can I use New Identity feature to create all other servers (subscribers, CUCM running only TFTP or MOH service) based on the clone of the publisher (first installed server) or I'm limited only on cloning the publisher? To rephrase my question: why I'm not allowed to clone some other CUCM from the cluster, why it has to be publisher?

Thanks,

Tenaro

New Identity feature

AFAIK this is only meant to be done for the PUB and the reason is to ensure the replication agreements are created correctly.

If you wish to further discuss this and have an official response you would need to do so thru your AM.
