** New Unity/Connection specific search engines **

Hey folks. The tech pubs folks have been working with the Google search engine for a while and have come up with some pretty slick documentation and tool site search interfaces specific to Unity and Unity Connection products.

I've put up two search pages on the CiscoUnityTools web site for these - searches will include all the Cisco documentation sites for the specific product as well as the tools pages on CiscoUnityTools itself. I've had many requests for targeted search functions over the years and I've been using these for a couple weeks - gotta say they're pretty slick.

Bookmark them and try and use them - be sure to send feedback to the mailers linked on the site if you run into anything you think can be improved or something you couldn't find or the like.

Very Cool! I typed in AXL Port because I can never remember which port AXL uses when configuring CUC 7.x and it linked me right to documented I needed.

Nice!

Hey Folks,

I must agree with Tommer and Ginger that this is just another example of what makes the tools related to Unity and Unity Connection the very BEST of any Cisco product line!! Kudos to Jeff and all of the BU Team involved!

Awesome. Now if someone will write a plug in to add it as a Firefox search engine, we'll be set.

We are planning to include the search boxes in the Unity and Connection System Administration interfaces for future releases, including the Connection 8.0 EFT that Laura posted a message about last month.

In the meantime, if you happen to use iGoogle, you can also add the box to your iGoogle page by using one of the following links:
