Outlook Plug-in from CUPC

I installed the CUPC 1.2(2) with the outlook plug-in. This installation makes my outlook (Version 2007) very slow. For example: when I click reply on a message I have to wait for about 20 sec. until the window opens. Has someone made the same experience? Any solutions for this?
