Partitions in Unity Connection

Does anyone know what the "/spare" partition is used for in Unity Connection?

It's a spare log partition.

Thanks for the reply.  It's a lot of space for spare logs.  Is it possible to reclaim some of that space and use it in the common partition?

No, the partitions are created during the install process and cannot be modified.
