Personal Assistant not synchronizing with Unity's recorded names

Our personal assistant is not synchronizing names recorded in

Unity for the last 4 days.

We keep on hearing the default names from the server, not the ones recorded.

Regularly, we go on the server to manually synchronize by clicking the Load

Recorded Names from the Messaging Configuration Menu.

We also, twice a day, go to the Speech Services Menu to Refresh everything.

Let me know if there is a very quick solution for this issue as we just

deployed over 1000 ip phones this past week.

This may be your problem. This bug is fixed in PA 1.4(5)

PA unable to sync spokenname with Unity

Symptom:

After upgrading PA to 1.3.3 or later, we are not able to sync spokennames with

Unity.

Condition:

Unity was not installed in default location.

Workaround:

Update the PAROOT/etc/VMBootstrap3.properties or

PAROOT/etc/VMBootstrap4.properties to point PA to the correct

location where Unity is installed. The property to be changed is

PROMPTS_DIR = \C$\Commserver\Stream Files

VMBootstrap3.properties is for a configuration with Unity 3.x

VMBootstrap4.properties is for a configuration with Unity 4.x
